Stephen Cozen and nine other lawyers from Cozen O’Connor have been hired to develop the distribution plan for BP’s $20 billion dollar fund for claims arising from the Deepwater Horizon Spill. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Kenneth Feinberg, the fund’s administrator, hired Cozen and his team to draft the terms under which claims would be paid and the manuals for claims evaluators. Cozen O'Connor will also train the evaluators.
