Cozen O’Connor Member Named to Board of PaSPCA

PHILADELPHIA, January 14, 2013 – Philip Kircher, a member of Cozen O’Connor’s Philadelphia office, was named to the board of the Pennsylvania SPCA, the commonwealth’s largest animal welfare organization. Mr. Kircher, a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, has long been an animal welfare advocate and provides legal services, pro bono, to a number of agencies dedicated to the cause. Mr. Kircher and his wife Margaret share their home with five rescued dogs a rescued cat.

Along with Mr. Kircher, three others were named to the board, including Penny Ellison, an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, who has taught Animal Law and Ethics and supervised pro bono projects involving animal protection since 2006.
