Seattle, March 31, 2014 — Cozen O’Connor has hired experienced commercial litigator William Walsh as a member, further expanding the firm’s litigation strengths in its Seattle office. Mr. Walsh has successfully represented numerous clients in court in a variety of areas, particularly with regard to aviation, products liability, and professional liability matters.
“Cozen O’Connor litigators are recognized nationally for their courtroom skills and diverse client base,” Mr. Walsh said. “I’m thrilled at the opportunity to join the firm and to build on that tradition.”
Previously a partner with Corr Cronin Michelson Baumgardner & Preece LLP, Mr. Walsh advises corporate and individual clients on their most complex civil litigation matters. His experience spans products liability, securities litigation, professional liability, personal injury, maritime and admiralty, disability, aircraft accidents, eminent domain, real property disputes and employment discrimination. Walsh, a former special assistant U.S. Attorney and Air Force Judge Advocate, also serves as disciplinary counsel for the Washington State Commission on Judicial Conduct.

Mr. Walsh earned his J.D. from Gonzaga University and a B.A. from the University of Washington. He also served as a law clerk to Judge Gerald L. Knight of Snohomish County Superior Court.
