Richard Allen is a member of the firm, a member of the Global Insurance Group and a former office managing partner of the London office of Cozen O’Connor LLP. He has practiced all facets of insurance law during his career with a special emphasis on aviation, marine and energy matters with an emphasis on insurance coverage questions.
Dick received his undergraduate degree in 1955 from Yale University, and his law degree from Georgetown University in 1961. He was commissioned in the Navy after college graduation and remained on active duty more than six years serving in the Pacific Fleet and as a member of the faculty of the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis. He holds the rank of Captain (Retired) in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
