Jessica represents national insurance companies throughout the United States in disputes arising out of the transfer of structured settlement payment rights. Jessica’s experience includes resolving matters involving the attempted transfer of structured settlement payment rights, disputes involving claims over entitlement to structured settlement payments and transfers of structured settlement payments involving minors. She also has experience handling tax issues, beneficiary disputes, and estate issues. She regularly handles worker’s compensation claims, bankruptcy claims and interpleader claims. Additionally, Jessica has experience with special needs trusts, Medicare set-asides, child support and other third-party garnishments, overpayment recovery as well as fraud-related matters.
Jessica advises her clients on a variety of issues, including payment obligations and liability concerns surrounding the administration of annuity policies. On behalf of her clients, Jessica has successfully opposed countless transfer petitions filed by numerous rogue factoring companies throughout the years.
Jessica also has represented multiple pharmaceutical companies in criminal and civil proceedings arising out of alleged violations of Medicare and Medicaid anti-kickback provisions, AWP-related claims, and alleged off-label promotion.
Jessica earned her law degree from the New York University School of Law and her undergraduate degree, with distinction, from the University of Virginia.
