WASHINGTON, D.C., March 31, 2022 — Cozen O’Connor is pleased to announce that Josephine Bahn, an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department, has been selected to the Daily Record’s Maryland Top 100 Women List. A panel of judges consisting of business professionals and past winners from across the state selects the Top 100 Women. These high-achieving Maryland women are recognized as making an impact through their professional achievements, leadership in civic and business endeavors, community service, and mentorship activities.
Bahn focuses her practice on commercial litigation and construction law. She counsels real estate developers, project owners, contractors, and design professionals in all phases of the construction process and handles claims related to mechanics’ liens. Bahn has wide-ranging experience litigating construction defect claims and has litigated in state, federal, and administrative forums, and boards of contract appeals.
Prior to joining Cozen O’Connor, Bahn was an enforcement attorney at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and clerked in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania for the Honorable Joel H. Slomsky. She maintains an active pro bono practice and is very involved in civic, charitable, bar, and community organizations. She was recently named chair-elect of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (ABA YLD) and will serve as the national YLD chair beginning in August 2022.
