PHILADELPHIA, February 15, 2024 — Cozen O’Connor announced several new practice group chairs, office managing partners, and leaders of firm committees and initiatives.
The firm appointed several new office managing partners and vice chair office managing partners in Boca Raton, Boulder, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver, and Washington, D.C. Julie Van Wert was named vice chair office managing partner in Los Angeles. Kathy Tang was named office managing partner, and Lucy Schilling and Jeremy Gellis were named co-vice chair office managing partners in Vancouver. In Toronto, Steve Weisz was appointed office managing partner, and Noelle Engle-Hardy was named the vice chair office managing partner. Doug Link was appointed as vice chair office managing partner in Boulder. Jason Domark was named office managing partner, and Jordan Chisolm was appointed vice chair office managing partner in Miami. In Boca Raton, Ellen Morris was appointed office managing partner. David Barron was appointed office managing partner, and Jake Skaggs was named vice chair office managing partner in Houston. Phillip Carroll was appointed office managing partner of the firm’s newest office in Salt Lake City. Meredith Moldenhauer and Lynne Espy-Williams were appointed co-office managing partners, and Chris Allen was appointed vice chair office managing partner in Washington, D.C. In Seattle, Peter Berg was appointed to serve alongside Kyle Farnam as co-vice chair office managing partner.
The firm also announced several new practice group leaders. Melissa Grossman will join Helene Jaron as co-chair of the Private Client Services group. Jerry Kilgore was appointed co-chair of the firm’s State Attorneys General group, leading the practice alongside Lori Kalani. In the Subrogation & Recovery Department, David Brisco was named the western region subrogation vice-chair. Finally, the Insurance Department appointed several new regional managers, including Melissa Brill and Vince Pozzuto in the Northeast, Alycen Moss and JD Dickenson in the East, Gary Gassman and Wendy Enerson in the Midwest/South, and Jodi McDougall and Julie Van Wert in the West.
Cozen O’Connor also made changes to the leadership of two of its internal committees. The Women’s Initiative is now under the leadership of co-chairs Calli Padilla and Kristi Zentner. Simeon Brier was appointed as co-chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee along with Dave Shimkin. Rangi Perera, Julie Van Wert, Atoussa Mahmoudpour, Mark Felger, and Ivory Bishop joined the Diversity Committee.
