Cozen O’Connor Announces Eight New Shareholders

Alexandra Campau, Nathan Dooley, Kyle Farnam, Paul Ferland, Matthew Glavin, Aaron Lukas, Dana Meyers, and Judd Serotta were all promoted to shareholder.

Alex is a member of Cozen O'Connor and the managing director & director of health policy with Cozen O'Connor Public Strategies. Alex focuses her practice on federal health care issues, working with clients to help them understand current regulatory and legislative developments in the health care space and advocating on their behalf to help shape policy and ensure their perspectives are heard and understood. Prior to rejoining the firm in 2018, Alex served in positions in the U.S. House, Senate, and White House.

In the Senate, Alex served as health policy counsel to the Republican Policy Committee, where she advised Chairman John Barrasso (R-WY) and the Republican conference on health policy and made recommendations on reforms related to the ACA, Medicare, Medicaid, medical innovation, drug pricing, opioid abuse, the Zika virus, and other major health policy issues.

In the House, Alex served as health policy advisor and counsel to the U.S. House Budget Committee, where she advised Chairman Tom Price and committee members on the U.S. health care budget and evaluated and made policy recommendations regarding the ACA, Medicaid, the National Institutes of Health, and other aspects of the health care system. She also worked with other House committees and the Senate to develop health care policy proposals.

 In the White House, Alex served as special assistant to the president for health policy on the Domestic Policy Council. In this role, Alex helped develop and coordinate administration policy around health care reform and reimbursement, including work on a range of issues in Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Previously, Alex was a health care associate at the firm, where she helped translate regulatory and legislative developments from various federal agencies, crafted formal comments to federal agencies and congressional committees, and conducted legal research and analysis. Alex has served as a Heritage Foundation Congressional fellow, a National Review Institute Washington fellow, and a Heritage Foundation and Hillsdale College Madison fellow.

Alex earned her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Tufts University, where she received the Wendell Phillips Award for her commitment to public service and public speaking ability. Alex earned her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Master of Public Policy from the Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy. Alex was the executive editor of the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy, a student ambassador on the Georgetown Law Admission Committee, and a political strategy track chair for the Georgetown Public Policy Student Association. She is admitted to the bar in the District of Columbia and New York.
