Fara focuses her practice on litigating a broad range of employment law disputes. She has experience managing day-to-day litigation and strategy of cases in federal and state court involving major employment statutes like the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Title VII, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and other state and federal employment laws and statutes. Fara has additional experience drafting and reviewing employee handbooks, employment agreements, restrictive covenants, and confidentiality agreements for clients. Fara also represents employers with respect to administrative charges filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and state agencies in response to allegations of unlawful discrimination and retaliation. In addition, Fara has represented clients in labor arbitration hearings.
Fara earned her bachelor’s degree in biology, with a concentration in genetics and development biology from Pennsylvania State University. Fara earned her law degree with an intellectual property concentration, cum laude, from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she was a Dean's Merit Scholar. While in law school, she was the co-president of Villanova Law Intellectual Property Society and Villanova Law Jewish Law Students Association, as well as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Lois H. Goodman, U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
