Matthew Criscuolo practices in the area of complex commercial litigation, including breach of contract, business governance, business torts, construction defects, product liability, trade secrets, enforcement of non-compete agreements, premises liability, and general liability matters. Matt represents clients across several industries, including hospitality companies, condominium associations and developers, real estate owners and management companies, construction companies, and technology companies. He also represents insurers in complex coverage, claims handling, and bad faith litigation. Matt practices in state and federal court and focuses on pragmatic solutions to complex business disputes, whether through developing an aggressive litigation strategy, or through negotiating an amicable, private resolution.
Matt earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center. While in law school, Matt served as articles editor for the Nova Law Review and as research assistant for two prominent professors. He graduated second in his class, earned seven high-grade awards, and received the ALI-ABA Scholarship and Leadership Award at his law school graduation. Matt received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida.
