Michael represents owners, developers, contractors, and subcontractors in various construction-related matters, including contract disputes, construction defect claims, and mechanic's lien disputes. Michael has litigation experience taking and defending depositions, managing pre-trial discovery, leading factual investigations, conducting witness interviews, and participating in hearings and settlement negotiations. He has prepared dispositive and discovery motions, pleadings, discovery responses and requests, expert disclosures, mediation memoranda, settlement agreements, and confidentiality agreements. In addition, he has second-chair jury trial experience and has resolved countless matters through alternative dispute resolution.
Before joining the firm, Michael was an associate with a boutique law firm in Boston, where he was a member of the commercial litigation and construction practice groups. He was also an associate with a Boston-based firm where he represented and advised several domestic and international insurers and corporations in a range of civil litigation matters, including construction, product liability, professional liability, and wrongful death.
Michael earned his legal degree from Suffolk University School of Law, where he was an articles research officer for the Suffolk University Journal of High Technology Law, and his undergraduate degree in finance from Stonehill College.
