J.C. concentrates his practice on subrogation and recovery. He has experience drafting and filing legal pleadings including motions, petitions, and memoranda and assisting in formal legal proceedings, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial.
Most recently, J.C. was a litigation associate with a boutique law firm in Miami, where he gained experience in commercial and civil litigation, contracts, tenant/landlord rights, real estate, bankruptcy, and general litigation. Before that, he was an associate with a multi-practice national law firm where he concentrated on planning, administration, and litigation in guardianships, estates, and trusts.
J.C. earned his joint B.S. in political science and B.A. in international affairs from Florida State University. He earned his J.D. with a concentration in litigation & dispute resolution from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a member of the International & Comparative Law Review. He is a fluent Spanish speaker.
