Stephen’s practice focuses on representing insurer clients in general liability claims concerning property damage, premises liability, construction defects, automobile negligence, commercial disputes, and personal injuries. His work includes analyzing insurance policies as well as other commercial contracts, in order to advise clients of their first- and third-party coverage obligations in the wake of claims and lawsuits resulting in bodily injury and/or property damage.
Before joining Cozen O'Connor, Stephen was an associate with a midsized firm with offices in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, where he analyzed insurance policies, prepared coverage opinion letters, and defended insurer clients against a variety of claims.
Stephen earned his J.D., cum laude, from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, where he obtained a Certificate in Trial Advocacy and Litigation and was a staff editor of the Temple Law Review, as well as President of Temple’s Jewish Law Students Association and Treasurer of Temple’s Chapter of the American Constitution Society. He received his B.S. in public affairs from Indiana University.
