For the second year in a row, Cozen O’Connor ranked number one in The American Lawyer’s 2013 Summer Associates Survey. Cozen O’Connor has ranked in the top five for four of the last five years. 

The rankings are based on feedback from 3,963 law students at 134 firms, and scores are based on responses in nine key areas, including the level of training and guidance, interactions with partners and full-time summer associates, how well the firm communicated its goals, how accurately the firm portrayed itself in interviews, how it rated overall as a place to work, and the respondents' inclination to accept a job if one were offered. All responses were scored on a 5-point scale, with 5 being the highest score. Cozen O'Connor's overall score was a perfect 5, and the summer associates described the firm as a laid-back yet hardworking place where attorneys seemed to enjoy their jobs and were always willing to provide guidance.
