Cassandra Jacobsen, an associate in Cozen O’Connor’s Labor & Employment Department, has been selected by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce to be a member of its 2024-2025 Leadership Minnesota program. Leadership Minnesota is an exclusive six-month program that works to broaden its members' networks, their understanding of the statewide business landscape, and the political climate that influences it. As a participant, she will spend five, two-day sessions covering various regions of Minnesota, gaining exposure to a wide range of businesses that drive the state’s economy and opportunities to connect with key policymakers and business leaders.
Jacobsen’s practice centers on guiding employers through a wide range of employment issues. She provides advice on workplace policies, discrimination, harassment, and problematic employees, conducts workplace investigations, and assists employers in understanding and complying with ever-changing state and federal laws. Jacobsen also leverages her extensive litigation experience to represent businesses in disputes related to employment, contracts, partnerships, trade secret and confidential information protection, and enforcement of restrictive covenants. She frequently speaks and trains on emerging issues in employment law and litigation to business, bar, and industry trade associations.
“I am excited to broaden my horizons by learning about Minnesota’s diverse industries and understand how they all work together to drive our economy,” said Jacobsen. “I am also looking forward to meeting new people from different fields of work and backgrounds.”
