Joanne works with our lawyers to provide Canadian companies with a range of services including private placement financings, reverse takeover transactions, prospectus offerings, debt settlements, and stock exchange listings. She approaches her work with diligent organization and efficiency. Joanne is also a SEDAR+ and SEDI filing agent. Prior to commencing her articles at Cozen O’Connor, Joanne was employed as a securities paralegal at a top Canadian provincial law firm and has seven years corporate and commercial experience in the South African Financial Services industry holding various regulated key individual positions. Joanne earned her B.A. Law LL.B from the University of Johannesburg and is called to the bar in South Africa. She is fluent in Afrikaans.
