Naoki concentrates his practice on complex international corporate matters for clients across North America, Europe, Asia, and beyond. He has experience drafting and negotiating transactional documents and managing due diligence for a variety of international corporate matters across several industries, including food and beverage, manufacturing, electronics, and energy, among others.
Before joining Cozen O'Connor, Naoki practiced for several years at a leading Japanese law firm, where he counseled companies, venture capital firms, and private equity clients on large-scale international mergers and acquisitions, provided legal advice on Japanese regulatory matters, conducted due-diligence, and managed complex closings.
Naoki earned his Bachelor of Laws from Keio University in Tokyo, Japan, and obtained a certificate from the Legal Training and Research Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan. He also earned his Master of Laws degree from the University of Chicago Law School in 2023.
