Aaron Zaluzec

Aaron's practice focuses on subrogation and recovery matters. With over a decade of experience, Aaron has successfully litigated complex multi-party matters involving industry-leading, national, and multinational corporations in federal and state jurisdictions. He is well practiced in initial case investigation, evidence and scene preservation, discovery, depositions, motions practice, mediation, pleadings, witness and expert testimony, multi-party settlement, as well as regulatory matters involving state and federal regulations such as OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, HIPPA, Stark, anti-kickback, and Medicare/Medicaid requirements.

Prior to joining Cozen O'Connor, Aaron was senior counsel with a boutique litigation firm in Chicago, where he worked with property and casualty insurers and subrogation teams on large loss claims analysis and adjustment in advance of litigation. He also served as legal consultant on catastrophic loss complex litigation, including building internal and external eDiscovery teams, conducting focus groups, expert retention, depositions, and jury pool analysis in advance of trial. Earlier in his career, Aaron was a senior associate attorney with another litigation firm based in Chicago, where he litigated complex commercial, civil, and subrogation matters arising out of catastrophic loss events in jurisdictions including Illinois, Texas, California, Colorado, and multidistrict litigation.

Aaron earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and his law degree from Illinois Institute of Technology's Chicago-Kent College of Law.
