Paul Ferland will present the “Wildfires and their Impact on Insurance Coverage Issues” workshop at the Loss Executives Association’s 2022 Annual Meeting and Educational Conference on Thursday, February 3, 2022, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He will present this workshop alongside Scott Armstrong, executive vice president, J.S. Held, Michael Rimoldi, senior project manager, J.S. Held, and Ton Van Everdink, senior claims manager, Munich Reinsurance America. The workshop will discuss the increase in frequency and severity of wildfires in recent years. The presentation will focus on the difficult issues that arise from wildfires, including business interruption issues, additional living expenses, civil authorities, and code upgrades.
