Noelle Engle-Hardy, a member in Cozen O'Connor's Toronto office, recently coauthored an article published for the International Trademark Association discussing the 2023 opinion in Abitron Austria GmbH et al. v. Hetronic International, Inc., that U.S. courts cannot apply the infringement sections of the federal trademark law extraterritorially.
