Wayne Rohde of the Transportation & Trade Practice Group will be presenting on port congestion issues at The Health and Personal Care Logistics Conference: Changing Global Health and Personal Care Supply Networks.
Changing trends in global demand and supply locations, new trade flows associated with the expanded Panama Canal and Canal Free Trade Zone that have sparked transportation infrastructure changes on both the East and West Coasts of North America, and heightened requirements for temperature control capacity across the global network have all combined to create a dynamic and changing picture in international trade. This meeting will center on key issues associated with the global environment that impact HPC supply chain managers and their service providers. Topics will address changes in infrastructure, planning, compliance, network design, sourcing and total cost management, and shipper-service provider governance.
