Ira Gubernick, vice chair of Cozen O'Connor's Corporate Practice group, will be speaking at this event in Philadelphia. Ira will be joined by a panel presenting "You Have Made the Coveted Move to In-house Counsel - and Now What?" The demands on your time, your business objectives, to whom you report, your short term and long term business goals, and much of your day to day responsibilities are vastly different when you practice law as an in-house lawyer. They will discuss some of the most significant differences between practicing law at a law firm versus practicing in–house, and how to manage those differences successfully to make your legal department a true asset to your organization. The panel will consist of in-house counsel with experience across industries, including financial services, technology, senior care, life sciences and gaming. Each of whom formerly practiced at law firms and successfully transitioned to in house, and ultimately general counsel roles.
