Paul Ferland will present via videoconference at the 2020 PLRB Large Loss Conference on Thursday, November, 19, 2020. His presentation is titled, "Just Because it Ensues, Does Not Necessarily Make it an Ensuing Loss.” During this presentation, Paul will discuss water damage loss resulting from defective design or faulty workmanship, coverage issues such as cause of damage and number of occurrences, impact of application of exclusions and ensuing loss exceptions on the claim, determining whether a business interruption loss exists, and communications with the insured related to coverage issues.
