Michael Fernández will speak on the panel “High Stakes and Red Flags: The Growing Intersection Between Compliance and Dispute Resolution” at the 2022 Hispanic National Bar Association Annual Convention. Michael will cover corruption issues and other problems that often end in either arbitration or litigation from a compliance officer’s perspective. He will also discuss the potential benefit of confidentiality in arbitration proceedings and the challenges of dealing with different cross-border regimes, particularly those of Europe and Latin America.
