Wendy Venoit will speak on two panels at the Society of Construction Law North America 2023 Annual Conference.
Wendy will speak on the panel “Out of the Box ADR Approaches to Avoiding and Resolving Construction Disputes.” She will discuss the successful use of innovative ADR techniques to efficiently resolve a dispute or a missed opportunity to do so. She will also discuss recent institutional forms to codify innovative dispute resolution mechanisms or the construction industry and whether these efforts are helping or hurting the process.
Wendy will also speak on the “Contract Termination at 90+% Construction Completion” panel. She will discuss the ramifications of contractor terminations when the project reaches 90%+ completion; and the legal, contractual, and financial considerations.
