Andrew Dorr will present “Ethics in Electrical Engineering” to San Diego State University’s College of Engineering seniors. The presentation will teach the students about the ethical duties that electrical engineers owe to their clients and the public at large. The students will gain an understanding of the specific rules propagated by the pertinent authorities, such as Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, as well as broader moral principles to evaluate dilemmas that may arise. Andrew will also incorporate real-world examples to help students apply this to their everyday environment.
