West Conshohocken, Pa., December 16, 2016 – Ross Weiss, a member of Cozen O’Connor’s Real Estate Practice Group, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Philadelphia Film Society. Ross concentrates his practice in the areas of zoning and land use and development, and has worked with residential, commercial, and industrial real estate developers and property owners.
The Philadelphia Film Society is a nonprofit organization seeking to transform Philadelphia by creating opportunities for diverse communities to experience film through initiatives that inspire, education, challenge, and entertain. The nonprofit founded the annual Philadelphia Film Festival in 1991, which continues to be held throughout various theater venues in the Greater Philadelphia Area and features more than 200 film screenings and 50 filmmakers and industry guests. The goal of the festival is to further spread awareness of films that may not be seen otherwise.
