John Ho spoke with Market Watch about how employees can file a confidential complaint and request an inspection of their workplace if they believe their employer isn’t abiding by OSHA standards or there’s a serious workplace hazard. “Generally speaking, a complaint that just reads, ‘I’m afraid to go to work because of COVID’ is not going to rise to the level that OSHA is going to take exception to,” said John. It’s important to provide specific examples, such as an employer failing to provide sufficient PPE or facilitate safe social distancing, John said.
