Patrick Martin was quoted in Law360 discussing a CBD bill that is about to be reintroduced. Although the bill didn't go anywhere when it was put forward last year, it's got a real shot this time, according to Patrick. "Something like 8179 does stand a relatively good chance of passing this year with the current legislative environment because it's bipartisan, and [Senate Minority Leader Mitch] McConnell seems to be interested in fixing some of these issues," he said.
