PHILADELPHIA, November 4, 2022 – Cozen O’Connor is pleased to announce that Deborah Winokur has been elected to the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s House of Delegates. Deborah will be a delegate in Zone One, and her term will start immediately.
The House of Delegates was created in 1966 and is the body charged with setting the policy of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA). All voting rights of PBA members are exercised through the House, including the right to vote on matters affecting the substance and administration of PBA Policy, on amendments to the Articles of Incorporation, or the Bylaws. The House also has the authority to judge the election and qualifications of its members, control all membership dues, and approve increases.
Deborah advises clients on risk management, ethics, and professional responsibility issues arising within their law firms and practices. She also works with stakeholders within the firm to advise on ethical aspects of pending matters and to assure adherence to ethical standards and compliance with firm policies. In addition, Deborah advises firm management on lateral recruitment and integration.
