Jesse Keene, a member of the firm’s Construction Law Group, has been announced as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Director for the Society of Construction Law, North America (SCL-NA). The objective of SCL-NA is to promote education, study and research (and publication of the valuable results of such research) and its dissemination in the field of construction law and related subjects in North America and internationally. Each regional director is responsible for hosting events, including webinars, lunch and learns, and social gatherings.
Jesse focuses his practice on construction law and government contracts with a particular concentration on litigation, international and domestic arbitration, claim preparation, and strategic project advice. He represents owners, general contractors, design professionals, and subcontractors in every phase of a construction project. Clients rely on Jesse’s candid, straightforward, and strategic advice in drafting contracts, providing project counsel during design and construction, preparing and evaluating claims, or participating in post-project dispute resolution. An experienced litigator, Jesse represents clients in a variety of forums, including international arbitration under the ICC, UNCITRAL, and ICDR rules and in U.S. federal and state courts and before various administrative agencies.
