Lynnette D. Espy-Williams, member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department and chief diversity, equity & inclusion officer, joined Sephora Grey on the "Topping the Curve" podcast.

Lynnette spoke about her career path, her daily life and work in products and premises liability litigation, how to find opportunities to enhance your oral advocacy skills, and her advice for those embarking on a career in commercial litigation.

She offered the following advice for young attorneys that was shared with her when she was starting out. "One of the partners told me when I was really young, 'You're going to make a mistake, you're a human being. But 98% of the mistakes you make as a young lawyer can be fixed, you just have to speak up.' That has really stayed with me my entire career."
