PITTSBURGH, May 9, 2023 — The National Black Lawyers has recognized Bobbi Britton Tucker as one of the top 100 Black lawyers in Pennsylvania. The National Black Lawyers honors the top 100 African American lawyers in each state or region with reputations for providing excellent legal representation in their respective practice areas. Membership in The National Black Lawyers is by invitation only and is based on current member referrals and independent research.
Bobbi is a member of Cozen O’Connor’s Labor & Employment Department where she defends corporations and other employers in labor and employment litigation before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and labor arbitrators. In addition, Bobbi advises clients’ in-house counsel, human resources managers, and executives on how to implement sound policies to build positive workplaces and avoid unnecessary employment litigation. Having worked for 10 years as a human resources professional, Bobbi is able to uniquely understand clients’ needs and issues and provide both a practical and legal approach to employee and labor relations. Bobbi also regularly trains managers on a variety of personnel-related issues including anti-discrimination; hiring, evaluating, and disciplining/discharging employees; conducting effective complaint investigations; implicit bias; drafting employee handbooks and employment agreements; non-compete and non-solicitation agreements; and wage and hour compliance.
