PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 6, 2023 - Cozen O’Connor is pleased to announce that Catherine Yun and Damali Martin, attorneys in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department, have been elected to the Community Legal Services of Philadelphia (CLS)’s Justice Rising Advocates (JRA) Executive Committee.

CLS, the oldest Legal Aid in the city, provides free civil legal assistance to low-income Philadelphians.  JRA is a group of young professionals who fight for justice alongside CLS, educate the legal community about the importance of CLS’ work, and seek to promote CLS through fundraising activities and engagement of young attorneys and other advocates across major sectors.  Members of JRA are committed to advancing the mission of CLS as they rise in the community and their careers. Through JRA, young professionals can learn about key issues so they can be effective advocates for justice. They also help low-income citizens through volunteering at legal clinics and other events.
