Brian Shaw is featured in a University of Illinois article discussing his career path and what he finds most rewarding in his job.

Brian has made a name for himself in the legal community for the last 30 years by serving in leadership roles, developing programming and mentoring initiatives, and writing articles for Law360.

“When you help people better themselves and sit down and take time to talk about things in a collaborative way, it’s incredibly rewarding and it balances all the more difficult things you have to deal with as a lawyer,” says Brian.

Despite Brian’s success as a lawyer, he believes that helping people grow and develop through collaboration is incredibly fulfilling and helps balance the demanding aspects of the legal profession. He maintains a strong connection with his alma mater, the University of Illinois, particularly with the bankruptcy graduates.
