John Ho was quoted in a Business Insurance article discussing the risks and legal implications for employers to store and provide naloxone. According to John, OSHA’s first-aid standard — which requires workplaces to have first-aid kits and an employee trained in the application of first aid — isn’t clear on overdoses. Putting naloxone in a first-aid kit has to be “deliberate and thought out,” he added.
