Sarah Krissoff, a member of the firm’s White Collar Defense & Investigations practice, was quoted in New York Times and New York Post articles in connection with a recent arraignment of a New York Councilwoman in Brooklyn criminal court. The Councilwoman was charged with one count of second-degree assault, after a heated protest at the Brooklyn site of a proposed men’s homeless shelter at which, according to the authorities, she bit a police chief. “An attack on a police officer constitutes a felony charge and it’s charged as a felony,” said Sarah, her attorney. “We’re confident that when the story comes out about what happened, the case will not go forward,” she added.
