Jeffrey Pasek, a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Department, has been appointed as an American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education (AVMA COE) site visitor. Jeff previously served as one of three appointed public members of the AVMA COE from 2016 to 2022 and will now serve for a term of six years, ending his service in December 2030. Site visitors are tasked with conducting comprehensive visits to the colleges, submitting a report of their findings, and making accreditation recommendations to the AVMA COE.
About the AVMA Council of Education
The AVMA Council on Education (AVMA COE) accredits DVM or equivalent educational programs. The AVMA COE assures that minimum standards in veterinary medical education are met by all AVMA-accredited colleges of veterinary medicine, and that students enrolled in those colleges receive an education which will prepare them for entry-level positions in the profession.
