WASHINGTON, D.C., December 11, 2024 — Josh Stein, a member of the firm’s Transportation & Trade Practice, has been appointed vice chair of the International Transportation Committee of the American Bar Association International Law Section. He will serve a one-year term. The International Transportation Committee addresses issues relating to the international transportation of people and cargo by air, vessel, road, rail, or intermodal service. The committee focuses on both public and private international law.
Josh’s practice includes advising clients on international and domestic regulatory compliance, corporate, transactional, and commercial matters. He has represented both U.S. and foreign companies engaged in international and U.S. inland transportation, offshore drilling, dredging, offshore wind projects, environmental remediation, and marine construction. Josh handles a wide range of transactional and regulatory matters relating to the maritime and inland transportation sectors. He regularly advises on matters before the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Federal Maritime Commission, the U.S. Maritime Administration, and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
