PHILADELPHIA, December 19, 2024 – Katayun Jaffari, chair of the Corporate Governance and ESG Practices and co-chair of the Capital Markets & Securities Practice at Cozen O’Connor, has been named one of the recipients of Philadelphia Business Journal’s annual Diversity in Business awards. Honorees are champions of diversity, equity, and inclusion who excel in their fields. These top business leaders hail from for-profit and nonprofit organizations in the region and are evaluated by their career and philanthropic efforts.
Jaffari will be honored at a luncheon on February 20, 2025, at the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia and profiled in a special issue of the Business Journal the following day.
Jaffari devotes her practice to advising boards of directors and executive management teams and handling complex securities transactions for businesses in a variety of industries. With more than 25 years of experience representing public and private companies, Jaffari has served as outside corporate counsel and has advised on the full range of corporate and securities law aspects of a wide range of matters. She also has extensive experience in compliance matters and mergers and acquisitions, including ongoing business counseling.
