Jerry Goldfeder was quoted in a New York Law Journal article discussing whether New York’s Governor, Kathy Hochul, has the authority to remove Mayor Adams and what the process would look like. “First of all, she does have that power to remove him, pursuant to the constitution-Public Officers Law-and the City Charter,” said Jerry. He added that Hochul can invoke power to bring charges to remove Adams, who’d be entitled to a full due process hearing.
