Trump’s name from the state’s 2024 presidential primary and general election ballots. “Like any citizen in New York state, [elected officials] have every right to petition the board of elections on their views as to whether or not Donald J. Trump is a bona fide candidate,” said Jerry. “Unless and until the Supreme Court of the United States makes a ruling that the states don't control their own ballots, citizens in the various states are free to challenge their candidacy.”
