Chairman, Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies

Mark is the founder and chairman of Cozen O'Connor Public Strategies, working with clients to advocate their interests with lawmakers, executive branch officials, and regulatory personnel in local, state, and federal government with an emphasis on health care and cannabis matters. 

Among his recent public and professional affiliations, Mark is or has been a member of the 57th Electoral College, the board of directors of the NASDAQ Futures Exchange, the advisory board of Phoenix Venture Partners Fund III & PVP Seed Fund, Democratic National Committee National Finance Committee (Pennsylvania chair), the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition Team, the Presidential Inaugural Committee, the Obama for America National Finance Committee, the United States Attorney Nominating Commission, the Judicial Selection Commission for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Kerry for President National Finance Committee (co-chair), and the advisory board of Philadelphia International Airport (chair).

An active and involved member of his community, Mark is or has been a member of the advisory board of directors of the National Air and Space Museum of the Smithsonian Institute, the board of trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, the board of trustees of Thomas Jefferson University (chair, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Inc., board of trustees), the board of directors of the Fairwinds Center, the board of trustees of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (chair of the School Committee), the board of trustees of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation; the board of directors of WXPN-FM, the board of directors of the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center of Philadelphia, the original board of directors of Living Beyond Breast Cancer; and the American Jewish Committee, Philadelphia Chapter. 

Mark is a contributor on political and policy topics with appearances in The Washington Post, Fortune, CNN, The Hill, CNBC, Fox News, FOX Business News, Politico, U.S. News & World Report, and Sirius XM's POTUS Politics. He also co-leads Cozen O'Connor Public Strategies’ political series and podcast The Beltway Briefing, which provides analysis and insight on political and policy developments in Washington.
