Duncan R. Becker

Associate

Duncan focuses his practice on life insurance and annuities. He has experience defending and counseling individuals, entities, and insurers.

Prior to joining the firm, he served as an associate on general litigation matters. He maintained a diverse litigation practice, including contractual disputes, trademark infringement, products liability, negligence, premises liability, and construction defect claims. Duncan was also a law clerk for Magistrate Judge Lynne A. Sitarski of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He drafted memorandum opinions, reports and recommendations on civil and criminal matters, and prepared documents in civil trials for RICO, insurance disputes, and civil rights claims.

Duncan earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Delaware and his law degree, magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from Temple University Beasley School of Law. While in law school, Duncan was a research editor of Volume 90 editorial board of Temple Law Review. He served as a summer law clerk for Justice Sallie Updyke Mundy of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and a judicial intern to the Honorable Anne E. Lazarus of the Pennsylvania Superior Court and the Honorable Michael M. Baylson of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
