Mathieu is a diligent, detail-oriented associate who focuses his practice on subrogation and recovery. He effectively represents clients in civil litigation matters, particularly in insurance, product liability, and construction law.
Prior to joining the firm, Mathieu managed case files in insurance and commercial litigation for a nationally recognized business law firm. He has experience in both private practice and as counsel for a prominent Quebec insurer. Mathieu has represented insurers in significant matters within the insurance industry and has experience representing clients in the courtroom. He brings a client-centered approach to each case.
Mathieu graduated from the Quebec Bar School in 2019. He earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.L.) from the University of Ottawa in 2018, receiving the Rémi Michael Beaupré Memorial Award and the Donald Scarth-Thorson Award.
Mathieu's accomplishments extend beyond the legal field. He was a member of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) and represented Team Canada U17 at the World Hockey Championship. He is also bilingual, speaking English and French.
