When Payments Halt Progress: Dispute Resolution Via Parenting Coordination [Alert]

Chantal Cattermole, Sarah Tradewell, and Joanne Di Domenico discuss the court's stance on issues that frustrate the dispute resolution processes, including non-payment.

Chantal represents families through life-changing events and sensitive disputes. Chantal understands the visceral nature of family conflicts and manages to simplify these complex issues into sensible solutions while building relationships or keeping them intact. Whether structuring spousal support, dividing assets, drafting marriage agreements, or planning multi-generational wealth transfers, Chantal thrives in guiding her clients through these complex processes to protect their families and futures, seeking cost-effective resolutions outside of the courtroom whenever possible. She is experienced in multi-generational estates planning to protect and preserve family wealth, knowing this requires long-term vision and communication.

Chantal is a certified arbitrator, collaborative professional, family mediator, and parenting coordinator. Her established contacts and extensive industry involvement help clients and families seek pertinent resources, such as financial advisors, real estate agents, counselors, parenting coaches, and child specialists.

Always abreast of developments in her field, Chantal frequently presents continuing legal education seminars for major banks, accounting firms, and trust companies on issues related to family law, estate planning, and family offices and is a regular guest speaker on Vancouver's CKNW radio station regarding family law, litigation, and mediation.

Prior to joining Cozen O'Connor, Chantal was a partner and co-chair of the family law and family office practices of one of Western Canada's leading law firms. She earned her B.A. from the University of British Columbia and her L.L.B. from Queens University and is a fluent French speaker.
