David Ellman is the chief operating officer for Cozen O’Connor, with responsibility for managing the day-to-day administrative operations of the firm. Key responsibilities include developing policies and operating procedures, implementing programs that improve operational efficiencies, conducting analysis of existing and proposed business, and reporting on achievement of key performance indicators. He also works closely with the CEO, managing partner, group chairs, office managing partners and other senior management in executing the firm’s strategic vision.
David previously was the chief financial officer of another Am Law 100 firm based in Philadelphia. Prior to that he was a partner in a Big Four accounting firm working in the assurance and business advisory practice. David earned his B.S. in accounting from Penn State University.
