H. Robert Fiebach joined Cozen O’Connor in February 1995. He is senior counsel to the firm's Commercial Litigation Department and co-chair of the firm's Legal Malpractice Group.
In addition to his trial experience, Robert is an accomplished appellate advocate. He has successfully handled many appeals within his practice areas in the Pennsylvania Superior and Supreme Courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He has also successfully handled appeals in the Federal Courts of Appeal for the Second and Fourth Circuits. Robert has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 1995 in four categories and was selected by Best Lawyers as its Philadelphia Litigation-Real Estate Lawyer of the Year for 2014, Legal Malpractice Law - Defendants Lawyer of the Year for 2021, and Litigation-Real Estate Lawyer of the Year for 2025.
Robert sits on the boards of The Defender Association and the American Jewish Committee of Philadelphia. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, is a past president of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, past chair of the ABA Standing Committee on Lawyers Professional Liability and has been biographed in Who's Who's American Law, Chambers USA Guide, and has been named a 2022 Pennsylvania Super Lawyer. He earned both his undergraduate degree (B.A., 1961) and his law degree (LL.B., cum laude, 1964) from the University of Pennsylvania. He was the research editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. Additionally, Robert was president of the Pennsylvania Bar Association from 1993-1994.
