Magdalena represents both private and government contractors in complex construction litigation and government contract matters. Appearing in both state and federal courts, she has managed hundreds of cases and has extensive experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, taking and defending discovery and expert depositions, negotiating settlements, and conducting internal investigations.
Most recently, Magdalena was an associate in a boutique complex commercial litigation firm in Washington, D.C., where she managed multiple six- and seven-figure complex government contract and construction matters. Earlier in her career, she gained experience in two Chicago, Illinois firms, managing a large volume of cases on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants, working efficiently to negotiate favorable settlements and resolve matters quickly in the areas of personal injury, worker's compensation, family law, mass tort, commercial litigation, and contracts.
Magdalena earned her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, where she was an editor of the Journal of Environmental & Energy Law, served on the Mock Trial board, and volunteered with several legal clinics serving indigent and refugee clients. During law school, she also had the opportunity to clerk with the Environmental Crimes Section of the Department of Justice's Environment & Natural Resource Division. She earned her B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Magdalena is also trilingual, speaking Polish and French.
