Dave focuses on employment discrimination litigation, traditional labor activities, and counseling employers on employment issues and best practices. He also maintains a commercial litigation practice and serves as outside general counsel for several companies, including those in the consumer services and medical device manufacturing industries.
In his employment law practice, Dave represents employers in discrimination litigation, collective bargaining, wage and hour matters, labor arbitrations, and cases before agencies such as OSHA, the EEOC, and the NLRB. He advises on employment policies and collective bargaining agreements and collaborates with in-house counsel and HR professionals. His litigation experience covers Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, PHRA, and FLSA.
Dave assists employers during union organizing campaigns and developing effective training and strategies for clear communication with employees. He defends clients against NLRB unfair labor practice charges and advises on matters involving restrictive covenants, trade secrets, corporate restructuring, and WARN-related reductions in force.
In his commercial litigation practice, Dave aggressively defends and prosecutes clients' interests in high-stakes litigation in federal and state courts, focusing on the service and technology sectors.
Previously, Dave was a partner at a national law firm focusing on employment discrimination litigation, employment counseling, and traditional labor activities. He earned his bachelor's degree from Allegheny College and his JD from Duquesne University School of Law.
